Male Allyship Workshop: Role of Men in Achieving Gender Equality

  • Koret Classroom (F330) Haas School of Business (map)

In order to truly achieve gender equality in our business community and beyond, men are crucial agents of change and have the responsibility of advocating for their female peers and colleagues. However, it can be difficult for men to know where to start, or how specifically they can help. This workshop is designed to train our entire business community on the role of men and provide tangible, realistic action items for all of us to carry forward. Participants will learn about the root causes of gender inequality, and what can be done in their own lives to become part of the solution!
This workshop is in conjunction with the Haas Manbassadors program, which is a network of male students at Haas dedicated to fighting gender inequality. The presentation will be led by Patrick Ford, MBA '17 and Ana Claire Mancia, BS '19.

Attire: Campus Casual

All majors and genders are welcome, and BWIB Committee Members/VPs are required to bring a male with them to the event.

The Los Angeles Times will be in attendance as well.
